In the field of physiotherapy, we see and hear the need and benefits of physiotherapy for special children – those with disabilities, special needs or serious physical injuries. We understand the physical challenges these children face, and are willing and able to help them with tailored aquatic physiotherapy and traditional indoor physiotherapy programmes.
Physiotherapy in water
Our aquatic physiotherapy programme is special because we use water as a powerful healing tool. Water has many benefits that help children move freely and comfortably. The warm pool creates a safe and pleasant environment for children to explore their movement.
Together with experienced physiotherapists, the sessions improve motor skills, balance, coordination and sensory integration. Water reduces the effects of gravity, makes the body less fatigued and provides the necessary resistance for effective muscle strengthening.
Physiotherapy in the water reduces joint and muscle tension, increases range of movement, builds muscle strength and endurance and reduces pain and discomfort. Water also provides extreme emotional relaxation and helps reduce stress and anxiety. As the water physiotherapy takes place in a shared pool, the children have the opportunity to socialise not only with the therapist or their parents, but also with other children in the vicinity.
Exercise duration – 45 min. This service is available in the Vilnius and Kaunas Megos centres.

Physiotherapy in the gym
In a physiotherapy room, a programme is much more than just a place to do exercises. It is a space where physiotherapists and children work closely together to achieve the best results.
Physiotherapy in the gym focuses on restoring movement and function of the body to increase motor control, strength, flexibility and endurance. Our physiotherapists use a variety of therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercise, muscle strengthening exercises, movement learning techniques and more to help children overcome their individual challenges.
Whichever form of exercise you choose, whether in the water or in the gym, your child will receive individual attention and a tailored therapeutic plan, adapted each time by our experienced physiotherapists.
At Bambino Spa, we believe in a holistic approach to physiotherapy, taking into account the physical, emotional and cognitive development of each child. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where children feel they can reach their full potential. Working together with families or carers, we strive for long-term success in improving the quality of life of children with disabilities and/or special needs.

Therapeutic massages for special children
For children who require special attention and expertise, Bambino SPA invites you to a special specialised massage therapy for children with disabilities and special needs.
Our masseuses understand the unique challenges of children with disabilities and special needs, and tailor gentle and effective massage techniques to address each individual situation.
The aim of the massage is to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation and increase the overall well-being of the body and mind. Massage therapy aims to create a safe environment and ensure that each session is enjoyable for both the child and the family.
The massage is for children aged 5-15 years old, and one parent can be present in the massage area if needed.
